Montecristo No.2 House Reserve Aged & Rare Montecristo 90th Anniversary Special Release

A defining example of Montecristo’s classic Pirámide or ‘torpedo’ size, celebrated for its even burn and controlled release of signature Montecristo flavours.

Since the late 20th century, select boxes of exceptional Havana cigars have been carefully set aside to mature under ideal conditions. These form the exclusive House Reserve collection.

From 2019 onwards, limited quantities have been released in Britain, either in original boxes as part of the Aged & Rare line or in specially commissioned humidors under the House Reserve Series 1790. Each Aged & Rare cigar has matured for at least ten years, with boxes marked 10+, 15+, or 20+ to indicate their age since manufacture.

Every cigar is individually inspected before release, with approved boxes stamped “Revisado” (Checked). A Release Certificate, signed by the Warehouse Manager, confirms the date of manufacture in Cuba, the release date from House Reserve, and the rarity classification. Each box carries an EMS stamp indicating the release year, and if cleared from Bond earlier, the corresponding earlier year stamp.

Each cigar is finished with a foot band verifying it as Aged & Rare from the Hunters & Frankau House Reserve.
