The most well-known and arguably most admired Havanas brand worldwide is Montecristo. For many smokers in Havana,it serves as the standard by which other brands are evaluated. In Montecristo's renowned lineup, the open series made room for a Robusto size. A wonderful medium-bodied cigar with the crucial fleur-de-lys on the band,in this popular shape. This robusto's smoke has a chewy texture that adds bready notes reminiscent of oyster crackers, along with earth, wood, and peanut. It's open and lush.
