Peterson's Sherlock Holmes is a simple concoction of Brazilian Burley and premium Virginias. This tobacco has a hint of spice, but it's not Oriental, so unless you're seeking for it, there are no secrets here. Virginias, of which there are Orange, Red, and Mysore Indian kinds, are the primary source of the flavour. They impart a grassy, pleasant taste with hints of citrus. Although a bit nuts, the Burley doesn't overshadow the Virginia. There is not much casing on this tobacco, which is well-balanced. It smokes smoothly and doesn't require frequent, if any, relighting. An perfume of citrus and apricot permeates the container.
