The brand, which was first released in 1996 as a full-bodied homage to the many generations of men and women who have grown tobacco on the renowned Pinar del Rio plantations, was relaunched in 2013 with a new medium-to-full bodied blend, new sizes, and distinctive 16-cigar tins. The leaves of the sun-grown tobacco plant that are picked around halfway up the plant are categorised as Centrofinos. The largest of the three Vegueros cigars in the Habanos range, the Centrofinos is a special size. They come in a 16-cigar tin when purchased in a bundle.
