Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas Cigar

The village of San Juan y Martinez, located in the centre of the Vuelta Abajo zone,is where Hoyo de Monterrey had its start. The town's main centre has a gate that reads,Hoyo de Monterrey. Jose Gener. 1960. This gate leads to the Hoyo de Monterrey plantation, one of the great Vegas de Primera. A powerful cigar with a taste that is surprisingly mild and smooth. When a late '80s example received a 99 out of 100 rating in the second issue of Cigar Aficionado,it shot to fame. It's still a cigar worth considering. Outstanding, robust, greasy, and bursting with richness and scent. This smoke is fantastic. A hint of caramel,a rush of cinnamon, and creamy flavours of almond and vanilla quickly emerge. The taste, burn, and draw are all excellent. Details : Strength : 1/5 Origin: Cuba Length: 7 5/8 '' Ring Gauge: 49
