In the first half of the 20th century, the Havana-based brand La Flor de Cano was established. It all started in 1932 when Juan Cano Sainz and his wife Consuela made the decision to practically produce cigars on their kitchen table by hiring a cigar roller.

Juan and Consuela’s business flourished with the support of close family members, and in 1936 they registered the trademark in Spain, which later became their biggest export market.
Since La Flor de Cano only provides the short filler handmade Elegados size in the UK, it’s a rare chance to try the brand’s unique blend, which is made up of Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta leaf.
