More than 25 years ago, Hunters & Frankau established the EMS stamp as a readily recognisable indicator of authenticity and quality for Havanas supplied in the UK market.

Before being offered for sale to trade accounts, the stamp is placed on all Havana boxes and packs that have successfully completed an additional UK quality check.

Every single box and pack of Havana cigars are opened (by cutting the seals) and inspected before they leave the Hunters & Frankau warehouse. This is to ensure that only the very best quality cigars are released for sale in the UK market.
