Description
The former Partagas factory is the one structure in Havana that cigar enthusiasts are most excited about. It is located in the centre of the city at No. 520 Industria Street, directly behind the Capitol building.
Don Jaime Partagas opened the plant in 1845, and it remained in business until a few years ago. Plans to turn it into a cigar museum are already underway, and it is now shuttered. Nonetheless, the ground level Partagas store is still open and highly recommended.A new letter was added to the Partagas Alphabet Series in 2011. The cigar’s ring gauge is 54, as indicated by the E. A large, tasty cigar with improved, eye-catching packaging.
An open, even draw from a big, oily cigar. Sweet spices, earth, and nuts abound in the first few puffs, but the cigar becomes somewhat dry and acidic towards the end.
