Description

This Barolo is crafted using the time-honored traditions, sourcing grapes exclusively from Luigi Oddero’s finest vineyards in La Morra, Serralunga d’Alba, Castiglione Falletto, and Manforte. Meticulously hand-harvested and rigorously selected, the grapes undergo a 12-15 day fermentation period with daily pump-overs. Subsequently, the wine is aged initially in stainless steel vessels, followed by maturation in French or Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months, culminating in an additional 12 months in the bottle. The result is a luminous garnet red hue with subtle hints of orange, accompanied by a distinctive, profound, and pleasing bouquet that lingers.

On the palate, you’ll discover nuances of sweet spices, forest fruits, alpine meadows, and licorice, with a flavor profile that is dry, soft, and velvety. This Barolo boasts remarkable structural integrity and a lingering aromatic finish, making it an ideal candidate for extended aging. It pairs exquisitely with hearty meat dishes or complements both fresh and aged cheeses.
