Don Julio 1942

In 2002, to commemorate 60 years since Don Julio Gonzlez began his tequila-making career, this small-batch Anejo Tequila was introduced. It is matured in American white oak barrels for up to two and a half years before being poured into a sophisticated, tapered bottle that is shaped like an agave leaf, or “penca.” Exceptionally smooth and nuanced, the nose of this tequila offers notes of charred grapefruit peel, toasted hazelnut, and pleasant vanilla notes, along with scents of Turkish delight, cassia bark, and caramel.
