This addition to Flor de Caa’s Centenario collection highlights the fair trade and carbon-neutral accreditation of the Nicaraguan distillery! Recycled materials are utilised to make the bottle and box that hold the sustainably produced rum, which is matured in bourbon barrels after being distilled using only renewable energy. Flor de Caa is an excellent option for a connoisseur of rum who cares about the environment, as they have planted 50,000 trees a year since 2005 to offset any emissions. Notes on taste: Rich, caramelised toffee, oak, and baking spice layers that give way to honeyed almonds and aromatic tobacco underneath. Allspice, chocolate, burnt oak, and vanilla linger.
