A little-known gem from Cuba is La Gloria Cubana. The fact that it was founded in 1885 is evident from its name alone. It has drawn a modest but devoted following among the most informed cigar aficionados for more than a century.
Presented in a varnished 8-9-8 box of 25 cigars, the Medaille d’Or No. 4 is a beautifully thin vitola that measures 6″ (152mm) x 32 ring gauge. It is sure to delight many connoisseurs who prefer more slim sizes or those who are experiencing a Habano for the first time. Made from tobaccos cultivated in the Vuelta Abajo zone and utilising the Tripa Larga Totalmente a Mano method (long filler entirely by hand), this blend is medium-bodied.
