While the majority of distilleries exclusively use their Coffey stills to produce grain whisky, Nikka also produces malt whisky from the two Coffey stills at their Miyagikyo plant. In 2014, the Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky was added to their lineup of flavours. It’s a lovely addition to Nikka’s amazing portfolio, plenty robust and flavourful.
