The Balvenie 14 Year Old

Description

A fantastic Balvenie single malt. This Speysider was finished in casks that had previously contained Caribbean rum, adding a touch of sweetness and warmth to the whisky. It was first aged in traditional oak casks. Actually, Balvenie’s master maltster David C. Stewart created it by mixing his own blend of West Indian rums, filling barrels with it, and finally replacing the rum with Balvenie’s whisky! The wonderful outcome is a smooth whisky with toffee, fruit, and vanilla aromas.
